Barger Academy of Fine Arts is a Title I fine arts elementary serving grades K-5. We are located in the heart of Brainerd and have approximately 360 students.

We offer School Age Child Care and have many after school enrichment programs centered around our fine arts.

Barger Academy is the only elementary school in Hamilton County with a dance educator and drama educator. We also have full time visual arts and music teachers. The garden and outdoor classroom provide students with a setting unique to Barger Academy and help make learning fun for all students.

Barger Academy believes the integration of fine arts into the academic curriculum increases the potential for success of all students. In addition to an arts enriched curriculum, the school’s mission is to improve higher order thinking skills and develop responsible members of society.
